The Prince is a Pauper: Rags-to-riches & the Christian understanding of kenosis and theosis

In honor of Ascension Thursday, in this episode, Mike and Jacob discuss the classic rag-to-riches story trope as found in Grimm’s Fairy Tales, classic literature and “golden age” (according to Mike) Disney movies. They then discuss how this theme is at least connected to, if not founded upon, the Christian theological concepts of kenosis and theosis as present in the life of Jesus.
