Today, September 27, 2021, marks the official anniversary of the founding of Voyage Comics! It’s been a full three years since we embarked on our “voyage” to create quality, faith-filled comics that the entire family can enjoy.
I’ll be honest, it hasn’t been easy!
Starting a company from scratch, with no capital investment, was certainly a gamble, but one that has proven itself fruitful over three short years. We have relied exclusively on the grass-roots support of our readers and have not been disappointed! What originally started out with only a few dozen supporters, has now grown to thousands of families from around the world! Thanks be to God!
Our work has drawn the attention of various Catholic media outlets, such as Word on Fire, National Catholic Register, and Aleteia, while also launching earlier this year on the Augustine Institute’s FORMED platform.
Furthermore, we have also been featured by various comic book and secular media outlets, such as ComicsVerse, Bounding into Comics, and the Chicago Sun-Times, revealing how our stories are truly universal, appealing to a large audience, not necessarily a religious one.
This past year has also seen a growth in retail bookstores carrying our products, continually expanding to new locations.
Above all, we are sincerely grateful for your support during these three short years. We couldn’t have done it without you!
We continue to move forward, always looking for new and creative ways to share quality, faith-filled comics with the world.
Next year will signal the conclusion of the Finnian and the Seven Mountains Series, and in a few short months we hope to share with you the next issue in the popular Phantom Phoenix Series.
We have many more stories we would like to share with you in the coming months and years ahead, but it is difficult to give exact forecasts or promises at this point. It all depends on how quickly we grow and how wide Voyage Comics is shared by people like you!
