Increase in comic book prices starting May 17

Due to a recent rise in paper prices, we have made the decision at Voyage Comics to increase the price of our 20-page comic books from $4.99 to $5.99, starting on May 17.

This does not impact the digital version of the comics, which remains at $2.99.

There are many factors that have gone into the reason why paper prices are rising and if you are interested in that sort of thing, you can check out this article for a brief summary.

We will not be raising the price of our larger comics, such as Jonah’s Voyage to Atlantis, The Tale of Patrick Peyton, or the Single Volume Finnian and the Seven Mountains.

Comic books used to cost $0.10 in 1960 and unfortunately, there is simply no viable way for us to offer comics at that price point!

In any case, you have from now until May 16 to purchase those comics at the current price before they are raised. This includes comics that are in stock, but also those that you can pre-order, such as The Phantom Phoenix – Issue #1.

Thanks for your support as we navigate our company through these rough waters!

Godspeed,
